[APML] OT / Takahashi telescope/mount question

Hi list,

while surfing through several astro-dealers pages, I've read an advertisement 
for the Takahashi CN-212 Cass./Newton telescope - sounds to me like a very 
intelligent solution for a.) planet photography (working at f/12.2) and b.)deep 
sky photography (working at f/3.9)! 

Does anyone of you have experiences with this scope? 
How heavy is the OTA? 
Does anyone of you use the EM-2 or EM-10 mount, if yes, how much does it carry 
and what do you think about it's functionallity / quality for AP? 
What other recommendations for mounts are there besides the G11 - e.g. will a GM 
8 do the same job with camera e.t.c. attached?
Portability of the complete setup will be a very important point for me - I 
don't really care about GoTo functions!

Lot's of questions - hopefully lot's of answers....:-)
