The adapter for the flattener that allows you to use a 35 mm camera on it IS
threaded on the side facing the flattener and will accept 48 mm filters ---
I just tried it with mine and both IDAS (Tokai) and Lumicon filters fit it
OK. The adapter is concave and it's tricky getting a purchase on the edge of
the filter to get it in; even more for getting it out (don't screw it in too
tightly!). And I'm not sure about vignetting, because it places the filter,
with its limited clear diameter, quite a ways out in front of the camera
bayonet --- almost an inch, I would guess. However, filters will fit the
adapter.
