Hutech will be introducing an adapter ($?) this year which allows their 72mm LPS filter 
($309) to be used with the 2.7" A-P barrel. See:

You will find it easy to use a guide scope after using an OAG.

You might want to consider using a Pentax 67. You can pick up a good used body on ebay 
for $500. The difference is huge. The only sticking point is the scanner. See Seagull,
