Hey Jerry,

I don't use a Lumicon OAG but, in most cases focusing is done by sliding the
EP up & down in the tube. A little movement can change the focal point a
LOT. Try very small movements and  be prepared to spend some time and
patience until you get it right.
The initial set-up of any new piece of equipment is very important and
usually is a pain in the butt.

P.S. You will also want to make sure that when you do finally get a good
focus, that it can be repeated. Otherwise you'll have to play the same
guessing game all over again.
