Subject: [APML] A salvaged IC443

Hi all -
I worked on my IC443 image again. This time scrapping the one neg that
contained the elongated star images caused by the high winds that night. My
thought the first time around was that I wanted to improve the S/N ratio by
combining the two exposures so I used the one poor neg in the blend. While
it did improve the S/N the elongated stars took away from the quality of the
photo. So, last night I experimented with processing the image with just
the one good neg. While I did not get as good of S/N improvement, I still
think it turned out pretty well. Having a dense well exposed neg to begin
with helped a lot.
Here's the link if you want to take a look.
