Although I've not tried this in Registar, my guess is that it won't work.
The program depends on indentifying stars common to the images being
registered.  If there are none (or too few perhaps?) it likely can't do its
job.  I've gotten a message something like "inability to register images"
when I mistakenly try to stack the wrong images from different areas of the
sky.  I wonder if the best tool for mosaics might be something like
QuickStitch, or one of the other panorama stitching programs.  This is an
area I too would like to explore.
