[APML] Novak cells, clip diffraction patterns (was Alnitak)
Michael, the cell is a Novak and the mirror is held in there pretty much
like my mirror on my other newt. It has 3 "clips" which hang over the mirror
face maybe 1/8 inch. The mirror floats on a 9-point cell. I don't get those
clip diffraction patterns on either of my newts and they both have Novak
cells. Is that 2 sample poll enough to establish a pattern? Any other Novak
cell users out there have a word?
The mirror will "guess" out at about 10 lbs, but that's just a guess.
Bobby Middleton.
