Chris, neat shot, I too thought about doing that photo but unfortunately was clouded out, just like every other morning this winter!  Never seen a more overcast winter here in the Midwest.  BAHHH!

I've posted a shot I took minutes after sunrise this past New Year's Day.
That morning saw a lot of high cirrus along with low altitude haze.  While
it would've been neat to see the whole Sun rising, I think the haze adds a
bit of tranquility and calmness to the scene.
Who's got the next Millennium sunrise? ;-)
