Great stuff Axel!
On some of my mosaic work I overlay the images and cut them right at the
seem. Then I can go back and stitch together the cut image with the other
original image. I use this when uneven illumination from the edge areas that
overlap get too difficult to even out brightness and background levels. It
eliminates the overlaps.
