Re: [APML] Alternative to Film and CCD
Hi Michael
Any home brewed or kit type emulsions that I have seen in the past make
Kodachrome 25 look like a real speed demon. They usually involved
contact printing large format negatives under direct sunlight for
between 10 seconds and 10 minutes and were designed for printing. The
platinum prints are stunning but I suspect the effective ASA rating is
around 0.01 ISO. Same with any of the colloiden processes that I have
seen. And most are very very dead to red light.
