RE: [APML] Owner of a New Takahashi FSQ-106

Jeff,

I'll be getting the Extender-Q some time in the future, but for now
it's primarily going to be used astrographically (is that even a
word?). I'm very fortunate in that I live near some of the darkest
skies in the Continental US. Unfortunately, clear skies are few and
far between, especially during the late Fall and Winter. Here's how
dark my regular site is

so I'm hoping the hotspot will be very minimal to non-existent. The
elevation is around 4000 feet. In late Spring, I may take a trip
down to the Steens Mountain in southeast Oregon. Given its
7000-9000 foot elevation coupled with these skies

it should offer some fantastic imaging.

Wade
