My installation does not behave this way. I just tried it out in 
response to your post. I notice that the Navi/Histo palette updates in 
realtime in sync with moves as I am making them in Levels or Curves. I 
do see though, that often an <!> pops in the window with a tooltip: 
"Click to see uncached data." Perhaps your disparity is caused by 
"cached" data?
