RE: [APML] A little M31 & M45

Thanks for the comments. Chris, I agree on M45. I processed most of that one
a week+ ago and truly can't remember what I did for smoothing, I think it
was SBGNR. I had already decided to start from scratch on that one, it just
looks a little soft, doesn't it? 

Want a challenge? I've got a baby witch that needs special handling, want to
give it a go? I can load a .tiff copy on my site for download.

Those are both very nice.  I really like M31.  M45 is also nice.  The only
comment I have on M45 is that the smoothing was, IMO, taken a hair too far.
M45 is always a tough object to get a nice smooth look.  What smoothing
program did you use?
