Alan, I've been monitoring the Yahoo digital astro group, where they've been discussing differences between the 10D and the 300D "Digital Rebel", which is what Hutech is offering (with some modifications such as removal of the IR blocking filter for better Ha sensitivity). The 10D is a higher-end model than the 300D. Apparently, the IR blocking filter is removable from the 300D (although it voids the camera warranty) and it is not removable from the 10D, which is a bad thing as far as AP is concerned. The 10D has a more robust body and more sophisticated software than the 300D. If you want more details, I won't take up the bandwidth on APML, I suggest you subscribe, at least temporarily to the Yahoo group, check their FAQ and/or search messages on "10D", "300D", "rebel", and the like. I can tell you there is not a 100% consensus over there on which is the better choice for AP, so don't expect to find a definitive answer.
