Silverfast 6.0 is available for the Polaroid SS120.

I upgraded a few weeks ago, but haven't had time since then to load it up or do any scans.

     I did not try Silverfast 6.0 with the Polaroid ... one of the problems to be aware of is that there is a little "recognition" chip in each device that recognizes the parent software ... Silverfast works in conjunction with the parent Microtek software ... I tried running the Polaroid with the Microtek software and it said "no scanner found" which is what I expected to happen. So my guess is that unless this particular Silverfast is bundled for Polaroids as well as Microteks... it won't work with the Polaroid... the thing to do would be to call them up and ask them ... Lasersoft Imaging (941) 383 - 7496.

    I have had more experience with the Silverfast 6.0 and I still feel like I have died and gone to Heaven ... the software is fast, accurate, and powerful ... complete prescan control of the histogram and just about anything else you want to futz with ... a mucker's dream come true! : - )

     With all the bad weather here and the new scanner, it's time to dig up those old negatives and post a "new" 100% film shot on the APML ... Yahoo!   (ooops...).
