[APML] OT: digital vs film

I've no interest in pointing fingers or name calling, but I am curious about
one thing. Are there no forums/boards/lists specifically for digital
astrophotography or astrophotography in general? Perhaps it is only my
perception, but it seems there are at least as many, if not more, posts here
concerning digital AP as there are film AP subjects. While I appreciate the
beauty of the digital images, and it is nice to be kept abreast of
improvements in digital equipment, my reason for joining this group was
because the focus, or so I understood, was on film AP..not digital AP.

I know I'm a new person here and I haven't contributed anything as yet, but
wouldn't it be more appropriate if the digital imagery were posted to the
proper venues rather than a supposed film only venue? Yes, I know it's ok
for people to post them here if they mark them as being off topic, but like
I said, it seems like there are as many, if not more, digital images and
discussion posted as there are film oriented postings.

If I've caused offense or overstepped, my apologies.
