My Dumbest Moment ?

There *are* many but I think the best one was laboriously manually
guiding a one hour photo and really sweating over it, attempting the
unthinkable .... pinpoint stars only to find out afterwards that the
shutter on the Nikon was set for 1/500.

That one convinced me to never use the Astro-Camera for daylight
photography <g>


Funniest Moment ???

Okie-Tex 2003. Settling into the ordeal of focusing when nearby a
horrendous crash of metal on metal followed by a dull thud. A voice off
in that direction mutters "That sounds like a Takahashi!"

Another voice from the other direction called out "Mine doesn't sound
like that"


Guess you had to be there but it was funny.
