RE: [APML] A Robotic Film Camera, first prototype
Philippe, The controls will not be just automatous. This will be an "Alpha"
class robot as well, capable of real time descicion making and changing its
behavior with sensory input. One such sensor will be a photocell to look
for morning twilight. exposures will be stopped, and a cover servod over
the lens to keep the sun out. Also, a humidity sensor is planned with the
same outcome. Now If I can figure out a clear skies sensor!
Clear Skies,

Eh eh eh Chris! That's a terrific idea! I like it!
What micro controller are you using? Is it a basic stamp? For auroras
nights, it would be great if the micro controller was able to
start a "dew buster" few minutes prior to take pictures ... This would spare
the battery to make sure the dew remover works the
whole night! Just a suggestion! :-)
I am anxious to see it at work!
Ciao,
P.
