[APML] Star Trails Question Again...

OK so I've played a bit with resizing in 2X increments but haven't gotten
better results yet with jagged star trails.  Is this because I cropped the
original first?  Again the 2X zoomed in version in PS7 has nice and smooth
star trails.  What's the secret?  I think I'm missing something simple.
