RE: [APML] [OT] Full moon "3D" image uploaded
Marco, although it is a nice shot of the nearly full moon, its too weird for
me. What I am seeing is the craters AND mountains have shadows on the left!
My sense of reality is a bit stretched on this one. Do you see what I mean?

Subject: [APML] [OT] Full moon "3D" image uploaded
Dear friends, I have uploaded to my site 1 big mosaic of the moon taken with
a simple webcam. I have applied the pretty nice Glenn Ray's procedure to
emboss the image to give a less flat appearance to the mosaic. I don't know
which one is anyway best, so I would like to hear your comments. Here are
the direct link of not enhanced images:
http://astrosurf.com/lorenzi/images/fullmoon.htm official "3D" page
http://astrosurf.com/lorenzi/images/moon_hr.jpg 2000x2000 large image
version as above
http://astrosurf.com/lorenzi/images/moon_nhs.jpg same of main one but not
embossed
http://astrosurf.com/lorenzi/images/moon_nh.jpg same as above but large
(2000x2000) version
