RE: [APML] Orion Nebula

Scott,

This is a magnificient picture of M42! It's the work of people like
yourself and the other pros on APML that have driven me to recently embark
on the astrophotography journey.

I finally finished processing another image from my New Mexico trip. I sent
the negatives to Tony Hallas for scanning and prints and decided it was time
to get my version finished for the website. Tony did a great job and I am
pleased with my prints. I don't think my version turned out as nice, but
that's what I'd expect. It is amazing what good equipment and dark skies can
produce. Processing is definitely a huge portion of the final result, but
you have to have good data to start with.
