Re: [APML] 1 more Pentax MF question

If you do go for an older 6x7, there is a trick regarding the film advance.
In the older cameras, it frequently happens that if you do not advance the
film to the next frame using a SINGLE smooth stroke, the camera will decide
it's finished advancing even though its not. This will ruin frames and/or
waste film. So, the trick is simple: always advance the film with a single
stroke.

Depending on your opcial configuration, the mirror lock up may or may not be
needed. I used one for quite a while that had no MLU and could see no
difference between using the shutter or a hat trick. But your mileage may
vary depending on how damped your optics and mount are.
