    I doubt that the 6x magnifier will focus if you remove the pentaprism. I
use the magnifier because I have not had luck with a SureSharp or the Hutech
piece. The knife edge focuser with my cold camera was great, using a
different camera body. I am beginning to suspect that my OM1 was dropped too
many times and the flange/rail distance has changed. Time to recalibrate. Of
the 3 knife edges I have used, I prefer the Hutech unit. The round knife
edge makes it very, very easy to use.
