Well, actually a lot is.  I would guess that less than half the
astrophotographers have a vacuum back.

Hey guys, 

It's very east to remove the paper from a roll of 120 film for use in a
vacuum back camera.  Hutech has an excellent how to page on their web site.
It shows you how to remove the paper and leave a paper leader at each end
just like a roll of 220 film.  It looked like it would be a pain when I
first found the page, but it's really not hard to do at all.
