 The lenses I own handle the older IC and can do the AI thing at the same time. Most AI lenses I've seen include the IC tab on the lens base. So that should not be a problem.

If you have a Nikon F2 the 180 F2.8 is really excellent. But is going to be expensive. The 200mm F4 another great lens could be had for less and is another good lens. Almost any of the 135's would be excellent choices. Then there are the 50 to 85mm lens that offer varying degrees of usefulness. You need to get yourself a 50mm F 1.2 then a 28mm would finiish things off great wide field imaging. I just so happen to have a 200mm F4 and a 135 F 3.5 I would consider selling but have not made up my mind yet.
