Hi,
If you are considering deep sky astrophotography you should be aware that
the maximum time of the E1 in Bulb Mode is 8 minutes, and the 10D is
infinity or as long as you power source lasts. (Internal battery according
to the manual when full charged is more than 3 hours, and there are external
power supplies and AC adapters as optional equipment)
