Re: [APML] M45: First Light STL11000
Holy cow Rob!
I was starting to think that the STL11000 was like the unicorn - a
mythical creature that only existed in legend.... and diffraction spikes
too! It doesn't get much better than this! Incredible image, right down to
the little UGC galaxy on the RH side. Now you can start shooting the same
stuff us film guys do, without taking 27 tiles. :-) Looking forward to
second light!

Hi all,
This is my first light image using the STL11000M and
AP55 at F7. I hope you enjoy it.

The camera worked like a dream. It's really an amazing
piece of engineering. The diffraction spikes were courtesy
of my kids who donated some kite string which I placed over
the dew shield for aesthetics <g>.
