Excellent image! I think with this new chip, the beginning of the end of 35mm film photography is upon us! I really have a hard time choosing whether of not to pursue this chip or get an ST-10XE as the replacement for my ST-7E. I love the wide field and
have a 2500mm and 1100mm instrument to use them with. I'll have to wait until the end of next year, however,to save my pennies for the STL10000M! :(

The camera worked like a dream. It's really an amazing
piece of engineering. The diffraction spikes were courtesy
of my kids who donated some kite string which I placed over
the dew shield for aesthetics .
