RE: [APML] 35 mm Camera & Focuser



John,

I have contacted Herm off-line and he tried everything, including moving the
primary mirror forward.  He told me that he switched back to guidescopes and
finally solved the flexure problem by using an old Meade 80mm f11 all metal
refractor as guidescope coupled with the ST4 autoguider. I found a Vixen 80M
f11 scope for $300CDN including the mounting rings, and he agreed that it
should be perfect for the job.  So both he and you agree that I should drop
the OAG idea altogether for the R200SS and simply get the guidescope.
