Re: [APML] Borg Astrograph 125 F2.8
Hi all,

yes, I used both version, SDUF I and II.
The older version (I) has a bad blue correction which caused me to stop
using it for CCD-photography in Namibia the first night. There were hugh
blue halos visible across the field. I then switched to the lastest model
(SDUF II) which shows these halos too, but they can be handled with some
photoshop techniques (take a look at this special example:
http://www.spiegelteam.de/ngc3576.htm ).
Of course, CCD is much more a challange for the optics than film
photography. For film photography, the SDUF I is acceptable, here is one
result with it : http://www.spiegelteam.de/antaresr.htm
Some more shots can be found here: http://www.spiegelteam.de/namibia.htm
BTW: I would be very interested in getting a few to a ST10 shot with that
Borg at f/2,8!
Clear skies,
Volker
