Chris, I see from that S&T page you referenced that they give the most
central crossing of M1 at about 1800 EST on 1/4/03. The Sky gives me results
about 2 hours later than that.
The following times are for my time zone (EST). These will be from The Sky.
It looks to me as though Saturn enters the Crab around 0900 on 1/4/2003. It
then crosses the northern part of the Crab and looks to me to be nearest the
center around 2000 on 1/4/03. And it looks to leave around 0500 on 1/5/03.
As I said, all EST.
Titan follows behind Saturn by about 11 hours.
I posted a screen shot from The Sky with Saturn apparently near the center
of M1. This is at 2000 EST.
