I've been thinking about this. Yes it is a challenge. Any exposure long
enough (on film) to give a decent image of the Crab would show motion on
Saturn, and also Saturn would be grossly overexposed. Of course one could do
a composite, but that would be cheating. I think this is one area where CCD
stands a much better chance of success.
