Someone over on Mapug gave me the following link to Dr. Clay Sherrod's
independent review of the Meade UHTC vs. EMC coatings.

Dr. Clay's results seem to indicate the UHTC coatings are significantly
better in terms of light transmission than the EMC (which was the standard
coating on the "classic" LX200s).
