Re: [APML] M31 on Provia 400F...
Hi Michael...
I have an Apogee 'Widestar', 100mm/f6.4... an older, early production unit
with the 'good' lens... later units had a removable MV-1 filter to meet
the 'semi-apo' claims, or so I'm told. I'm using a Teleview 0.8 focal reducer
with it for now... but will shoot some without the focal reducer as well. It
does have some chromatic abberations... as evidenced by the M31 image... but it
isn't terrible. It's also going to be a great finder for my 10" f7 newtie!
Here's a snapshot under rather harsh lighting from a couple of weeks ago ----->

I eventually will add 'Equipment/Locations' info on the web-site... now I'm
just anxious to process my sky shots from this last outing... did I mention how
*awesome* the skies were for me last weekend? <g>
Best...
Geoff
