Thank you for confirming that Registar and LZW aren't compatible.  The
recent thread started by Alan Voetsch brought the question to mind.

Alan, if you are reading this and if you want to use Registar for
registering images, you'll have to convert  LZW compressed files to another
format  before you can use Registar.
