Re: [APML] PS-LZW compression?
Alan --the option "Save" saves the file in whatever type it was opened
under originally--e.g. gif, tiff, jpg, psd, etc. the option "Save As"
lets you save the file you have open as another type.
So ,as Bill suggested, you keep your bazillion megabyte tiff image file
of the Walmart Nebula intact, while saving a 100 to 500 k size jpegged
copy of it for quick download by folks still using a dial up 24 kbps
phone connection to (slowly) surf the web.

Hi Bill,

Thank you Bill, this was very informative. And you
even almost explained the difference between 'save'
and 'save as'. What does it all mean anyway?
