Hi Jim---It's been a long time since I've seen you post here on APML--great to
hear from you!
I like your version too! And I appreciate your points on curves and Adobe
"reality".
Rank beginners like me look at original results like Matts uncurved example, and
often don't know where to
go next in converting the uncut gem into the diamond.
Having a deep look into people like Matt's, Jerry's and and Chuck's toolchests
helps me.
I wish I could say I could crank out a decent processed image in 15 minutes.
I tend to average several hours, and often do it for several evenings--and thats
with only middl'in results to show for my effort. Understanding how others get
results helps me regardless of whether I totally adopt all aspects of their
style.
