[APML] SS4000 output settings and save as what?

Man, you guys are going to kill me soon. Just a couple
more questions. My output settings on the SS are noe
set at: 300dpi, and scaled to 1000.00%. With those
settings the scanner says it's scanning at 3000dpi. Is
that correct?

Next. Scanner Save image files: I have the option of,
Tiff, bitmap, or JPEG. I've been using Tiff. Should I
re-scan with JPEG?
