[APML] M42 at 300mm on new EQ6 mount
Dear list,
it has been quite a while since I've posted my last picture.
The time waiting for my new mount was endless (almost three month..),
but finally, two weeks ago it arrived!
On last Sunday a high pressure system reached Germany
and I was ready to go.
The shot is a single, unfiltered exposure with my Carl Zeiss
300mm f/4 lens taken with my Pentax ESII on Kodak E200.
The lens was piggybacked on my Vixen R200SS mounted on a EQ6 mount.
While shooting in a very light poluted area I had to cut down the
exposure time to 15 minutes! The grain in the exposure is a result of
working with "Levels", e.t.c. in Photoshop.
Originally working with a LX200 it was quite a new expierience to now
have a polar finder scope, alignement with the new mount turned out easier
than I thought.

I would appreciate any comments!
Clear Skies and a Happy New Year to all of you,
Aike M. Voelker
