Yes, and some strong stuff indeed.  I suspect that a marketing chap got ahold 
of some geometric ray traces and had a good time.

Clearly, as Roland has so well pointed out, the diffraction limited spot 
(Airy disk) even with a perfect detector is much larger than 2 microns.
