AW: [APML] JMI Easy-align

Which easy-align are you talking about? I bought one for my G11 (a whole lot
of money) and it's terrible. The "eyepiece" moves in the tube, meaning that
even if it's perfectly aligned, touching it means you're not aligned
anymore.

On the other hand, a really cheap polar finder I had for my Vixen New
Polaris mount aligned pretty precisely, that it didn't seem necessary to do
drift alignment anymore, and I don't have any field rotation in any of my
guided photos (as field rotation does not increase with longer focal
lengths, the 50 and 135mm lenses I used would have shown the same field
rotation as a 2000mm scope).

JMI claims that after you drift align one time and lock in the easy-align,
you will never have to drift align again. Has anyone had any experience
with it? Does it really eliminate the need to drift align each time you take
astrophotos?
