My argument has nothing to do with what you can reasonably expect to achieve, but with inflated specs that are theoretically nonsense. You will not capture 2 micron images on film, neither will you see them visually because they don't exist. There is always a temptation for marketeers to inflate, stretch and mislead. Is this good? Please note, I do not say that the instrument is not good or that it cannot achieve excellent performance. However, there is no need to stretch specs when selling a high end product like that.
