If conditions had been LVM 6.8, I would have gone two hours without a
filter.  But the skies were LVM 5.5 due to poor transparency.  The
humidity not only obscured the subjects but reflected additional light
pollution.  So I had to expose for a shorter period, even with a
filter.  The density on the negative shows that the exposure length was
about right.

I took another shot 60 minutes with no filter on the same FOV and the
contrast was significantly worse, but it was also exposed correctly.

Loudon is north of Manchester but south of Plymouth.
