[APML] a vote for Macs

Tom,
I've used PCs at work but always owned Macs at home.  The Mac operating 
system works better for me than Windows.  I think I spend less on 
computers than my friends who buy Windows machines because mine last 
longer.  I buy a new Mac only when the new ones are 5-10 times faster 
than my old one.  So far I've owned 4 Macs since 1985, my current one 
being a G4 with a 22 inch LCD.  I run Mac OS X, and aside from Photoshop 
and Appleworks all the software I need either came with the operating 
system or I downloaded it as shareware and paid $20-$30 for it.  One 
other piece of software that is essential is Voyager III from Carina.  A 
beautiful astronomical program.

And back to the subject of Admunching, the browser called Omniweb (which 
I downloaded and paid a few bucks for) has an option to skip the ads, 
which you can override if a picture is really one you want to see.  Only 
runs on a Mac!
