What kind of telescope are you using? Asteroids are not only physically small but they also have a very faint magnitude. I am willing to bet that you are probably using a telescope with an insufficient aperture for visually observing the asteroid of interest. Of course, film and CCD can easily record objects through the same scope not visible to the eye!

It's the location for Cyprus (Northern Hemisphere)But I did not see anywhere the location of the asteroid in a specific area
