Thanks everyone for the nice words.

Volker, I used the Kodak Wratten gel filters number 92,58,47 (RGB). The 
number 92 filter for red is slightly narrower band than the usual no. 25 
filter and allows for longer red exposure before sky fog limit sets in 
thereby producing better SNR in this channel.

  Bobby, I think it would take a ton of shots with a 4" refractor and a 
CCD imager to cover this field as can be seen by the field of M78 taken 
with a 5" f/6 refractor. Granted this FL is longer but you get the idea. 
    One can use a 50-100mm telephoto lens instead though. To get the 
same depth as the Schmidt camera combination with TP would produce quite 
a few bloomed stars in the CCD case.
