robust.  They can take a lot of abuse from my experience.  The only downside
is if someone uses a pen to point things out.  The ink cleans off a lot easier
from a coated glass CRT than from the plastic fronts on most LCDs.

Well, it depends.  The better ones are as good or better than low end CRTs,
but no match for high end models.

Well, depending on the light source it can take a few seconds, but essentially 
there is no "warm up".

For your use, Tony, I would stick with CRTs.  I have very good experience 
with the high end NEC and Compaq units, and the price premium for a good 
unit today is minimal.
