The DOS box appears and runs through the image fairly
quick, depending on pixel dimensions. It doesn't sound
like your image is being acquired for processing at
all. You should be getting an error message in the DOS
box if this is so.

I almost never use a radius of more than 1.2 and the
Max diff. settings vary greatly between 20 and 80.
(the slider only goes to 50 but you can insert higher
values manually) For some reason, the Max Diff.
settings for one image just don't look right for
another. You have to experiment a little to get them
right.
