[APML] bgsmooth - Win2000

Has anyone run the Windows version of bgsmooth (rather, the Windows "front
end") under Win2000?

When I try to run it, I get a very rapid flash (like the DOS box appears and
disappears in a millisecond), and then, nothing.

If anyone has worked out any settings or has any other suggestions, I'd
appreciate it.
