Asking this question on a film list will give you skewed responces <G>.
I went CCD last year, and to tell you the truth, it's real hard to get myself to
put film through the telescope anymore, unless it's for a really big subject.
A good examples of the resolution theory you mentioned would be my ccd shots:

All these were shot with a TV-85 and an ST-237.
